OUR OPERATION
Located in Janesville, Wisconsin - Henning Farms is a family-run program which focuses on high-quality Angus cattle. It's home to a growing 200 purebred Angus female herd. Henning Farms has an embryo-intensive program and has some very powerful donor cows.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn a little about our program. Please feel free to stop by the farm and see our operation.

MEET THE HENNING FAMILY
Mike and Lora Henning began Henning Farms in the 1991. What started as a cash crops and trucking operation, has evolved to include the registered Angus program you see today.

As the Henning's Angus herd has grown, so has their family. Mike and Lora's children, Suzanne and Evan, grew up exhibiting their cattle competitively nationwide and are each now married. Evan works alongside his dad on the farm full time, spending most days in the tractor or working on machinery. The next generation of Henning Farms has also made it's debut with Evan and Cassandra's daughter, Lily Henning.

MEET THE ZEHR FAMILY
Courtney and Danny Zehr manage the Henning Farms Angus program full time. Courtney became herd manager for Henning Farms in 2011, Danny joined her soon after.

Both Courtney and Danny grew up in the livestock industry and have expertise in exhibiting cattle, IVF, AI, and ET work. They're industry background has helped Henning Farm's Angus program improve year over year.

Their little ones, Cheyanne, and the twins (Denver and Rhett) love being around the farm or at cattle shows. The kids already share the same passion for the livestock industry as their parents.
